Call for Applications: Cancer Cell Death Team Fee Waivers for PhD Students ICMB2026 Conference

The Cancer Cell Death Team from CRCL (Lyon, France) offers two conference fee waivers for PhD students to attend ICMB2026 – International Conference: Molecular Biology – Current Aspects and Prospects, which will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from 21–24 September 2026. This opportunity is intended to support doctoral students who will benefit from participating in the conference and who can demonstrate how attendance will contribute to their scientific development.

Current status

PhD year
Affiliation
Supervisor
Research topic

Social motivation

Briefly describe any financial, personal, or other circumstances that make support particularly valuable.

Scientific motivation

Describe your research interests and explain how they align with the themes of ICMB2026.

Expected impact

Explain why you would like to participate in ICMB2026 and how attending the conference would benefit your current research, professional development, and future career.

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD programme at the time of application.

PhD students who have already registered for ICMB2026 are also eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on:

Scientific motivation and relevance to the conference topics.
Expected impact of participation on the applicant’s research and career development.
Social motivation and demonstrated need for financial support.
Overall quality of the application.

All applications will be reviewed by the ICMB2026 Scientific Committee in collaboration with the grant donor. Successful applicants will receive a full conference registration fee waiver.
